Barrington Beef has been awarded Gold Medals in two national 'Paddocks to Palates' eating quality competitions. These were judged by some of Australia's leading food critics and restaurateurs including personalities such as well known TV chef Geoff Jansz, Damien Pignolet of Sydney's Bistro Deux and renowned palates and winemakers Bruce Tyrell and Max Lake. Some of the judges' comments were "A real winner, wonderful consistency throughout.
Both samples were equally matched, what a rarity. Beautifully balanced on the palate, creamy and sweet" and "The meat texture was right, and the samples (from two different animals) were identical in flavour - I'm definitely going to chase up where this came from".

Barrington Beef is grass fed for purity and flavour. Free range grass feeding brings out the natural flavours, not found in synthetically modified grain fed animals. Barrington Beef is free of genetic modification, antibiotics, hormonal growth promotants and chemical residues.

Barrington Beef, like a good wine, improves with age. We start with prime yearling beef and age it for a minimum of one week. As beef ages it becomes more tender, full-bodied and succulent. Initially mouthwatering, Barrington Beef develops into an intoxicating taste experience.
